Your envelopes should mirror the same design and color elements as your letterhead. As in designing letterhead, it is critical to determine what graphic elements need to be on the front of your envelope and place them without compromising either postal regulations or space needed for an address, cut-out window, etc. Your logo, company name and address should all be included.
